The characters and story that are adapted from the Dudullu Post series are told in the eyes of extraordinary people who are unusual. Foolish youths, desperate housewives, young girls living in the dream world, dad lost in the carpet field match.

Maggie is an ordinary Canadian girl with the best of intentions who has signed on to work in a Catholic mission in Zimbabwe. With an ample supply of enthusiasm and ignorance, she consistently demonstrates her lack of understanding of the local culture. When she is robbed, she fights for the release of the man convicted of the crime and belatedly makes some attempt to understand her environment.

The film based on Eno Raua's stories "Päris kriminnene lugu" and "Telepathic lugu" takes the viewer to a summer town in Estonia, where boys and girls meet with exciting adventures, dreams and falling in love. There are no real forensics and telepathy here, but it is about the disappearance and finding of a little boy. In addition to adventures, the main characters find something else - both in life and in themselves.

Widower Vikas lives a fairly wealthy lifestyle along with son, Raju, on an island off of Bombay's Gateway of India. Raju has not been told of his mother's demise, and believes that she will return home by the next boat. He is looked after and abused by Vikas' aunt, and manages to run away. On one occasion, in the company of Minoo, his neighbor, they manage to get on the boat, reach Bombay, and start a frantic search for his mother. With the help of the Police, Vikas was able to locate and bring them back home. When Vikas goes to work one day, villagers find an unconscious female and bring her to his house. She is looked after, and Raju believes that his mother has returned. When Vikas returns, he decides to let this female, whose name is Juhi, live with them - little knowing that she is a runaway prostitute.
